You have to first click on the "Data" or "Data Access" and click once or twice on the RED "Optin Data File" Label/Button until you get a file chooser that pops up.... Then you will see in the current directory where the program is: a very small optin list of 3 names that you can alter with your own emails to test out sends... filename is: "newoptinlist.txt" ***Since the optin list there is only 3 records, if you try to go beyond 3 records in viewing them on the data page one at a time, you will get a program fault error. That is one of the bugs which I have not fixed as of yet. If you load a file such as "output.txt" you will get to see a lot other type of optin data: different fields, more than 3 records, etc... After you have loaded up the main optin file that is to be mailed, auto config takes over, and the RED "Optin Data File" label/button is now GREEN- this is good. Make sure you click back over on the tab panel to "Message" and do the same with the labels "From", "Subjects", etc... until they are all GREEN instead of RED. After this, when you have "all GREEN lights"... you can Click on the top "Operations->SEND" and start your mailing... Feel free to experiment around somewhat with some stuff, but don't worry about the Settings and Network right now because they are not working. Auto-config has used it's own settings which over-ride those. ***Also, don't forget to find your Default SMTP server for sending the mails out... For instance, mine is "mail.cinci.rr.com" because I use the Road Runner Cable Service. It's different for everywhere though, so find your unique one, and put in into the box on the bottom right of the "Settings" tab KNOWN BUGS: ----------- 1) When using "newoptinlist.txt" (3 records), if you cycle through more than three records when viewing them, the program will fault/freeze. 2) Sometimes when clicking on "From Emails" from the "Message" tab page, an openFile dialog Box will open requesting the location of "OptinListFile", but the good news is that after you select either: "newoptinlist.txt" or "output.txt", the file dialog will close and the "Manage From Emails" box will pop up next as expected.
